Traditional animation
(Also called classical animation, cel animation, or hand-drawn animation) is an animation technique where it consist each single frame to be hand drawn, including the background. Having one technique stood out the most for easy movement is called cel technique. This involves a technique where the image of the animated ink drawings transferred directly to a clear piece of celluloid. When animating moving objects on transparent celluloid sheets which were then placed over a fixed background image and then being photographed to generate the sequence of images.
Stop Motion
(Also called classical animation, cel animation, or hand-drawn animation) is an animation technique where it consist each single frame to be hand drawn, including the background. Having one technique stood out the most for easy movement is called cel technique. This involves a technique where the image of the animated ink drawings transferred directly to a clear piece of celluloid. When animating moving objects on transparent celluloid sheets which were then placed over a fixed background image and then being photographed to generate the sequence of images.
Stop Motion
Stop motion or stop-action, an object is slightly moved (object
animation), then photographed, one frame at a time. There are other variations of stop motion
techniques: go motion, stereoscopic, and CGI stop motion.
Go motion was created in order to give a more realistic movement
to the object(s) in the frame. Since each object that you are shooting using the
stop motion, it is in crisp clear focus within each frame, go motion provided
the necessary effect to make a subject’s movement more life-like by creating
motion blur. When shooting go motion, the subject, while being recorded, is
moved. This creates motion blur. Although there are now multiple ways to make a
subject move while it’s being recorded, one way to move and control the object
is to use Rods.
CGI(Computer
Generated Images)/Nowadays computer animation
CGI
(Computer Generated Images) started around the early seventies with computer technology
and software improves. Nowadays, many animation cartoon and films are created
with computer. It is essentially a digital descendant to the stop motion
technique. Computer generated animations are more controllable than other
physically based processes and becomes increasingly more realistic. Anything to
do with animations is generated and manipulated with the computer (computer
processed work/Computer Generated Image), having movement formed, a main image
is placed than having one frame at a time on top. Each frame, after
manipulation, must be rendered
